Coach Bob Torribio of Newport Harbor Varsity Boys’ Basketball and Dale Thayer of Sunset Rewind

Coach Torribio was an assistant at NHHS for 10 years and the head coach for the past 13 years. That’s 23 years coaching at Newport High School. Coach Torribio took the reins over from his mentor Coach Larry Hirst.
