The game opened with Marina setting the tone early, outscoring the Sea Kings 20-12 in the first quarter. Their offense, led by Shane Gloger and Barak Simon, flowed effortlessly as they capitalized on turnovers and quick transitions. Meanwhile, Corona del Mar struggled to find their rhythm and maintain possession, leaving them trailing from the start.

The second quarter saw the Sea Kings rally with improved defense and a more composed offense. Oliver Nakra provided a spark for CdM, driving to the basket and hitting key shots to keep his team within reach.
