CdM came out strong in the first quarter, outscoring Rolling Hills Prep 17-14 and establishing an early rhythm. Their momentum carried into the second quarter, where they put up 19 points, but Rolling Hills Prep responded with 24 of their own to take a slight lead heading into halftime. The second half continued to be a tightly contested battle, with both teams trading baskets and defensive stops.

Despite a solid defensive effort in the third quarter, CdM struggled offensively, scoring only 12 points compared to Rolling Hills Prep’s 13. Heading into the fourth, both teams were locked in a tense showdown.
